Happy 4th of July

We spent the holiday weekend at my parents' house. This morning we went to a parade in my parent's neighborhood. Michael got to ride a pony and both kids enjoyed watching the parade. We got back yesterday afternoon in time for dinner and to listen to the fireworks in the neighborhood as you couldn't see them very well from our house.

We had a pretty low key weekend here. We decided to stay home for the long holiday weekend. We spent some time at the pool with the kids. We had some nice family time. We had good dinners and even better desserts. We did some yard work. Todd painted the playhouse.

Doggies

We went to visit my parents for the 4th of July weekend. Aunt Michelle and Uncle Alex also came too with their doggies, Ben and Baxter. Michael has mixed feeling about the doggies. He gets very excited when they are at a distance but gets scared when they get up close. At least until he gets used to them that day. It starts all over again the next morning!

We went to a parade on the 4th of July before the doggies got here and Michael was walking up to other dogs and petting them.

Saturday night, we were outside playing with the dogs after dinner and getting ready to light some sparklers. Michael really wanted Ben to come over and see him and this is how he was trying to get his attention. It was so cute!!
